What are the different applications among different pump tubing?

When it comes to choosing the right tubing for your pump, it's essential to understand the differences between various materials. Silicone tubing, rubber tubing, and fluoroelastomer tubing each have unique properties that make them suitable for different applications.

What are the key differences between silicone, rubber, and fluoroelastomer tubing?

Silicone tubing is known for its flexibility and resistance to high temperatures, making it ideal for applications where heat resistance is crucial. Rubber tubing, on the other hand, is more cost-effective and offers good abrasion resistance. Fluoroelastomer tubing is highly resistant to chemicals and oils, making it suitable for applications where exposure to harsh chemicals is a concern.

Which tubing material is best for high-temperature applications?

For high-temperature applications, silicone tubing is the best choice due to its ability to withstand temperatures ranging from -60°C to 200°C. This makes it ideal for processes that involve heat, such as sterilization or hot liquid transfer.

Which tubing material is most resistant to chemicals?

When it comes to chemical resistance, fluoroelastomer tubing outperforms both silicone and rubber tubing. Fluoroelastomer tubing can withstand exposure to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, solvents, and oils, making it the top choice for applications where chemical compatibility is essential.

What are the advantages of rubber tubing?

Rubber tubing is a versatile option that offers good abrasion resistance and flexibility. It is also more cost-effective compared to silicone and fluoroelastomer tubing, making it a popular choice for general-purpose applications where extreme temperatures or chemical exposure are not a concern.

Understanding the differences between silicone, rubber, and fluoroelastomer tubing is crucial in selecting the right material for your pump system. Consider the specific requirements of your application, such as temperature range, chemical compatibility, and flexibility, to determine the most suitable tubing material for optimal performance.

I want a mini dispenser or a pump containing 17 bottles of chemicals raw materials of choice, and it has the ability to control the dose from 5-25 ml per dose. And it must be matching with a Arduino controlling panel to choose the material mixed with water, and also to make it that i can mix multiple raw materials together + water.
